The Contact Point packs up and sets out for TERVE-SOS fair in Oulu on 23–24 May 2019

The annual TERVE-SOS event for social and health care experts assembles more than a thousand people to attend 15 seminars and listen to presentations by more than 70 experts in the social and health care field. The event in Oulu will also be attended by over 50 social and health care operators who will bring their own fair stands – including the Contact Point for Cross-Border Healthcare. TERVE-SOS will be organised in Oulu on 23–24 May, with Oulu Theatre as the venue.

The theme of TERVE-SOS 2019 is “The world is changing – what about us?” During the event, there will be speeches on topics such as welfare technology, networks and safety.

Ask about international health care at the Contact Point’s fair stand

The Contact Point for Cross-Border Healthcare team is in high spirits as it starts the journey towards Oulu. Everybody is busy with preparation work for TERVE-SOS. The Contact Point will set up its own fair stand at the Oulu Theatre and is eagerly anticipating visitors. The previous years have shown that the right to health care in the EU area is a theme that greatly interests experts. At the Contact Point’s stand, you can ask and talk about aspects of international health care, such as how to obtain medical care when you fall ill during a trip and how to travel to other countries for treatment.
